In 1966, my great grandfather Joseph Chamandy founded the Cedars Cancer Foundation after a family tragedy. Since then this foundation has been an important part of my heritage and holds a special place in my heart. Years later, my dear grandmother Jackie Chamandy (Joseph’s daughter) passed away after a heartbreaking fight with ovarian cancer. My cousin Michael Charles suffered pancreatic cancer as well and he left us far too soon. It would mean the world to me to make a difference within this foundation that I hold so deeply to my heart.
In September 2019, I will be riding in beautiful Bromont, Quebec in support of Cell Therapy Research at the Cedars Cancer Centre. Please consider making a donation to this great cause! Rain or shine, we will be cycling on a challenging cyclo-tour encompassing majestic rolling hills and valleys in the picturesque Eastern Townships.
Money raised from this event will support the New Cell Therapy Unit under the leadership of Dr. Pierre Laneuville. A first of its kind in Quebec.
Your donation will ensure the success of this initiative and is fully tax deductible.
Thank you for sharing our vision and for your commitment to the fight against cancer.
We can, we will!
