Dear Friends, Colleagues, “Former Patients”, and Family,
I hope you are doing well! Despite the fact that I have not communicated with all of you, I think of my Mayo/Minnesota life every day!!
For 5 consecutive years, you have supported my run for MOCA (Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance). This year, on Saturday September 22nd, I will be biking for the “Cedars Ride for Hope and Gratitude” which will benefit the Cedars-Laneuville Cell therapy Initiative of McGill University. A first of its kind in Quebec.
YES, I have been training HARD since April: I changed my diet, I stopped any wine and Martini, I biked miles and miles....and I am ready to bike 75 KM or maybe more!!
I firmly believe that cell therapy and immunotherapy will not only help hematologic cancers (which may affect your husband, brother, son, and all women) but also gynecologic and breast cancers.
We will be 40 bikers and only 3 women...so, PLEASE, help me to make “our voice” (we women) strong!! So once again, dear friends, I reach out to you and ask you to support me!
With love and gratitude,
