New Directions. New Possibilities

First and foremost, thank you for your interest in my mission to raise funds for cancer research. I am truly grateful and humbled.
I am so excited to report that I have embarked on a “little” idea with ‘Big” possibilities, and it is now reality.
From its humble beginnings of just two riders in 2011 with the Ride to Conquer Cancer, my “Team Hope and Gratitude’, with your support, has raised more than $400,000 in the fight against cancer. I am also happy to report that I am now in my 7th year of remission.
Having said that, I would like to welcome you to the next step in my personal journey, The Inaugural Ride for Hope and Gratitude!
A few years back, I made the decision to study where the money we raise could be best utilized. I then took an interest in cell therapy and immunotherapy specifically for use in blood cancers and I was intrigued by its possibilities in the fight against cancer. Not only for blood cancers, this new way of approaching treatment and cures is having major success in many different cancer applications.
With a mission to raise funds for a new cell therapy initiative through the Rossy Cancer Network, a partnership of the McGill University Health Centre, the Jewish General Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and the McGill Faculty of Medicine, I invite you to learn about the Ensign Ewart Fund, set up in memory of my father and administered through the Cedars Cancer Foundation. I am so proud of this and I invite you to learn more about my mission.
With a goal to keep the cost of this event to a minimum, my mission is to make certain the money we raise goes directly to this initiative minus the large overhead of many other events.
I hope you enjoy the website I have created. I am so proud to share this with you as a valued and loyal supporter of my efforts.
Wishing you the very best,
Rob
