Two years ago, Colleen was with us and we all pitched in to raise money for the Cedars Center that helped Colleen and I so much.
This year, we can remember Colleen and continue the fund raising.
The boat we raced last year was organized by Jordan's friend Kevin Butterfield who we lost last year to cancer , and now, his fiancée Natasha is continuing the team in memory of both Kevin and Colleen.
On September 8th 2018, I will take part in the 13th Annual Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race & Festival in order to help raise awareness and much needed funds for cancer patients and their families at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC).
I, along with my team will be training hard this summer to improve our synchronization, power strokes, and overall dragon boating team technique so that we will be victorious on Race Day in both their racing and fundraising efforts.
All monies raised go directly to Cedars CanSupport, a division of the Cedars Cancer Foundation which aims to aid patients and their families who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. Cedars CanSupport provides free psychological, emotional, practical and financial support to cancer patients and their families being treated at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC).
We hope you will help to support us and cheer us on at the beautiful Promenade Père Marquette in Lachine on Saturday, September 8th.
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration and generosity.
